Steven Chapman has become rather dishonest in his dotage

First he cites a municipal election's abysmal black turnout then shifts to voter ID laws implying that one has to do with the other. Of course Steve knows that in the last two presidential elections with or without voter ID blacks voted at higher rates than whites. Some discouragement.

He also knows that voter fraud and identity is a much bigger problem than his "31 out of a billion" statistic implies. Indeed people voting multiple times, absentee fraud and people voting for other people have changed the course of the nation. Without them it is likely AL Franken would still be a comedian and Obamacare would have never passed.

He also knows that election observers from other countries are shocked to find thst we have almost no voter ID requirements and that Americans overwhelminly support voter ID laws.

And does anyone really believe that in an age where you can't go to high school without your ID that ten percent of the adult population has nothing that will work? Methinks Steve keeps only the left wing statistics.

But Steve would rather squeak racist. Because sometimes people's resentments overwhelm their good judgement.  Like for example, here.
