Texas Republicans to trim occupations requiring licensing - reducing barrier to more income equality

Licensing is the way that a guild keeps its numbers small and it's wages up. It contributes to income inequality when it does so.  Licensing when it has no value is just a barrier to the poor and the poorly endowed.  It's racist to boot.  Good for Greg Abbot, the presumptive Governor Elect for bringing more economic liberty to the Lone Star state.  Hattip Instapundit.com

AN INCOME-INEQUALITY REMEDY THAT WORKS: Texas Looks to Decrease Occupational Licensing. “Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, who is running for governor of that state, has rolled out a plan that would repeal a number of occupational licensing rules. These standards restrict individuals from engaging in certain commerce without permission from the state (and often include paying extra money, taking tests, and meetinerty g other requirements).”
