The best time to buy is when stocks are down. The best time to have faith in America is when it's in a funk and things are going badly as this poll indicates. We forget that the US has more physical, intellectual, economic and spiritual assets than most of the rest of the world put together. There is no nation more blessed nor more capable of reinvention and renewal.
We've had a few down years but don't mistake that for defeat. We are special.
