We end up with zombie states forced to do the Feds bidding. Accountability for delivery is severed from revenue and experimentation and diversity are destroyed. That's how a Democrat party panicked by a concentration of wealth among 10 million Americans happily promotes a concentration of ultimate wealth and power in an institution effectively controlled by a few dozen old lawyers.
And our civil society and culture dissolve apace. It's all so progressive. Important article at the link.
