On the truest test leadership: do you fight your own party's corruption? - Rick Perry gets an A

Rick Perry nails UT President and Republican lawmakers in admission preferences for politicians scandal.
Universities are clearly the most corrupt and retrograde institutions in our nation. Probably followed by charitable foundations because both have tons of money and little real outside scrutiny. No matter who you are, what your politics may be or what cause you espouse if you are not seriously accountable to outsiders who closely scrutinize your activities you will be corrupted.

Incidentally lest someone misunderstand: one of the best forms of outside scrutiny is customer choice in a free, open and unsubsidized market.  Government regulation is not serious accountability or scrutiny in all but the most extreme circumstances. In fact it's usually just disguised cronyism.

More here on rino corruption at UT. They hooked themselves some horns.
