Korean Airlines Flight 007 was shot down by Soviet warplanes. Whether or not the Malaysian airlines flight has met the same fate for the same reasons I leave to those in the know. Regardless, the reason we have this tragedy is because of the situation in Eastern Ukraine which has been inflamed by Russia and it's thuggish leader Vlad "the Impaler" Putin.
And no matter how this turns out it's not good for 'Bad' Vlad or his poor, pathetic country.
