He capped school taxes in a state that already spends 2X the national average. He retained half of a 200 thousand-aires surtax, slightly moderating NY's well earned reputation for avaricious vindictiveness towards the productive. Governor Cuomo is demonstrating that he can take the State from an uncontrolled crash trajectory to a crash landing glide and the loons are jeering him. Even the supposed hard nosed VOX is vexed by his newfound emergency moderation.
And on social policy he's with the gun and gender hysterics and on fracking with the AGW shriek squad. If this is what passes for Northeast Dem moderation then God help them.
