It turns out that organic farming is not sustainable. It quickly depletes the soil of nutrients (some put there by previous industrial agricultural practices) and its use of organic nitrogen sources that are less efficiently fixed by crops kills waterways due to eutrofication. Organic farming isn't just anti human (consuming more water and land for less food) it's also turns out to be anti environment.
Boy the world's poor can't survive much more "progressivism" can they?
