You can put lipstick on the Healthcare.gov pig but underneath it's still swine all the way down

The boffins have made whole bunch of cosmetic 'fixes' to the place that all Obama campaign workers will be sent if they are very, very bad.  But all there is to 'fix' is the front end that consumers use to navigate, 'select', 'purchase' and 'pay' for their health plan.

Evidently none of the important back end stuff like payment, accounting, reconciliation, integration or that pesky detail security has been resolved.  Deep in the recesses of President Obama's "Signature" achievement is a whole bunch of squirrels (or perhaps swine) running in a whole bunch of treadmills.

Insurance Companies Say Health Care Website Is Still Flawed. “The problem is that so-called back end systems, which are supposed to deliver consumer information to insurers, still have not been fixed.” So while they’ve been pointing at the front, there’s still no backend. It’s a Potemkin website
