The 'fruits' of the gentry's environmental oppression

Energy is one of things normal people need to escape poverty and live decently along with housing, food, education. Is it any surprise that the prog hysteria over Anthropogenic Global warming has driven the price of electricity to an all time high?  What the gentry wants, the gentry gets and pronounces it righteousness.  No matter how much it screws the weak and poor and the young.  Hey they got the power:  we gave it to 'em.

This November, the average price for a kilowatt hour of electricity was 13.0 cents. That was down from the 13.2 cents in October and 13.7 cents in June, July, August and September. But it was the most a KWH of electricity has ever cost on average in the month of November since BLS started reporting the average price of KWH of electricity in November 1978.

It's  highest in places like CA and NY.  One of the reasons that these states, heretofore 'rich', are now among the poorer in the nation, poorer than traditional laggards like Oklahoma.  So which state's citizens are the bright ones now?
