Why are so many politicians wedded to the idea that CO2 needs to be controlled in order to avoid “dangerous changes of the global climate.”

Answer that question and you will explain why the comprehensive invalidation of every climate model produced by the IPCC has led to the global political community to cling to the discredited models even harder.

It has something to do with Mencken and Hobgoblins, I believe.
