And from that inanity it's a short step to say that the people's sins have caused the crops to fail. Wait...they're already saying that. Global warming is a wonderful religion because it absolves it's practitioners of any responsibility to understand anything. They just shout "hot, hot, hot".

I often wonder, but never get more than a puzzled look when I inquire, if global warmists realize that a mere 12 thousand years ago, only a couple of thousand years before the Iliad was being composed, Canada was groaning under ice two miles thick. Yeah, the globe has warmed up a lot since then. If it wasn't Al Gore heating his mansion, could it have been caused by Woolly Mammoth's passing gas?
