What? Testifying against the machine is dangerous? Who knew?

The President explicitly moved to Chicago to get into politics.  He learned the Chicago way well.  Why would anyone think that he wouldn't apply that learning to his current job?  Not that he is doing anything nefarious.  He doesn't have to - that's why you have a machine:  so you don't have to do anything yourself.
