Beware of the ultimate evil, beware of a stain so dark that it cannot be washed out. Beware of the dark side of the force.

Beware the Koch brothers - Satan's major domos here on earth according to the Dems.  Which is odd because the Kochs and the Dems agree on a lot.  It's just that the Kochs are the largest individual donors not to give all their money to the Dems.  So they are the bogey man in this election, the object of the prog's two minutes hate.  Charles Cooke explains:

At a recent retreat, the Times explains, it was “emphasized that one of the best ways to draw an effective contrast is to pick a villain.” ‘Twas ever thus. And so we are to watch one of America’s two parties endeavor to construct their very own Emmanuel Goldstein — defining themselves in opposition to a shadow, and selling themselves as the brave opponents of malevolence.

“The programmes of the Two Minutes Hate varied from day to day,” George Orwell wrote in 1984, but there was none in which Goldstein was not the principal figure. He was the primal traitor, the earliest defiler of the Party’s purity. All subsequent crimes against the Party, all treacheries, acts of sabotage, heresies, deviations, sprang directly out of his teaching.

Substitute “teaching” for “money,” and what, pray, do you see?

My Dad grew up two doors down from Charley and Billy Koch.  He used to play with them.  My Grandad and their Dad were both successful Wichita oilmen.  Koch got into the downstream business and flourished, my Grandfather stayed in the upstream during the collapse in the oil price and was wiped out.  Imagine if it had been the opposite way round:  It could be the Reeves brothers as the font of all evil.

I would dig that.  There is really nothing more fun than freaking out progs.  Their eyes pop out and foamy spittle comes with every syllable.  Must see hysteria, folks.
