The best argument against Elena Kagan

From Commentary:

The best argument against Elena Kagan: “Ms. Kagan took it upon herself to draft language for ACOG [American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists] to insert into its findings, and then she had the gall to present the amended statement to the president without acknowledging that it had been altered, for political reasons, at her direction. Ms. Kagan drafted language stating that partial-birth abortion ‘may be the best or most appropriate procedure in a particular circumstance.’ This later became the linchpin of lower court fact-finding and the Supreme Court’s decision (largely reversed a decade later) that a ban on partial-birth abortions was unconstitutional. Without the language, those particularly inhumane abortions would have been banned a decade earlier.”

Lets see:  10 years of partial birth infanticide (to steal Sen. Moynihan's phrase).  Using the lower bound of estimates of late term abortions in this country (5,000) that would suggest that her duplicity to the court and her President cost 50,000 human beings, American citizens, their lives. A Vietnam war of lies.

And this is someone that our President and his party wants ON the court?  I mean I could understand her being BEFORE the court appealing her conviction for "Crimes Against Humanity" but on OUR court?

This is perhaps the clearest sign yet that our President is a moral bankrupt and unable to parse the straightforward decency of the American people.  I mean the failure to manage the cleanup in the gulf is just garden variety incompetence, something that our Republic has experienced and overcome before.  But this:  this is willful promotion of an evil doer to a position of power where she will be empowered to do more.

For her natural life.  Dark times.  Dark times.
