Hayward of BP was canned: Sauce, goose, gander?

I've never had patience for people who blame BHO for the explosion and resulting spill.  It was BP and their contractors' fault.  BP has always had a rep as corner cutters.  Bloody brits.  They also have had the more recent reputation as being the “green oil giant” (Hore Hore Hore, Green Oil Giant!) – supporting the left and environmental causes and ‘playing ball’ – unlike ConocoPhillips or Exxon who play by the rules (and don’t have their refineries and rigs blow up regularly).  Big time Obama donors, it paid big dividends for BP until the big oops.

But my question is this:  the BP CEO was canned for something that he probably had little directly to do with (other than supervising people who supervised people who….) and that had never happened before (but should have been foreseen and planned for).  Fair enough:  he's a big boy and that's the way the slick spreads.

So, should BHO be canned for botching his half of the crisis?  The cleanup?   Because unlike Brit-boy Obama didn’t have to prevent against a probability – he had the disaster staring him in the face.  He didn’t have to think about all possible risks, only the one that had already happened and that everyone knew was a massive catastrophe and Federal responsibility at the highest level.  Sauce, goose, gander?

Not that I want him canned.  President Biden?  Eek.  President Pelosi?  Eek Eek.  President Reid?  (“I’m sorry but Mr. Reeves has fled the room screaming”).
