Confidence in the economy at a new Obama low

Rasmussen reports that consumer confidence continues to fall. This is a direct result of the Democrat's misguided policy to (as Rahm Emmanual used to put it before he began knifing his boss in the back) "not let a good crisis go to waste". The massive change agenda of the Democrats has destroyed business confidence, which crushed investor confidence and has now filtered down to consumers who look at their personal lives and don't see how things are going to get better. These are the same mistakes that Hoover and FDR made, although one would expect that a President who handed out histories of FDR to his staff would at least have understood how to avoid FDR's mistakes.

But I'm sure Obama handed his team Zinn and Schlesinger, silly ideological whitewashes of FDR's real record. Thus like the Bourbons the Democrats have learned nothing and forgotten nothing.

The tragedy is that is destroying people's lives. The justice is that it is destroying Obama's Presidency.
