Of course this has been known for a long time, ever since the FDA started relaxing statistical significance for passive smoking studies back in the 90s to 'drag' passive smoke over the causality finish line. The horrible health effects of passive smoking have always been overstated by our modern puritans whose desire for hegemony over our lives never ceases, it only shifts. It used to be sex and naughty words, now it's health and naughty habits.
The standard of coercion should always be the least coercion and cruelty possible consistent with general order. We are way the hell over that line. Leave us alone.
