When fixed costs of employment are high and rising employers have an incentive to push overtime rather than add workers. The manufacturing work week is now highest in the history of the stat. (Hint: it's not because of our economic boom).
It's fascinating: those yelling loudest about 'inequality' do their damnedest to increase it. While 92 million working age Americans slowly rot. But most of 'em already vote for the social already so screw 'em they're gettin' their check. Social 'Democracy' indeed. Sigh.
