It became 'beyond' rescue when it was conceived based upon a host of ludicrous misconceptions about health insurance and the health care market. It's pace of meltdown is due to intergalactic levels of pointless complexity and interstellar levels of incompetent management. It seems BHO didn't much care what was passed so long as he got credit for it and therefore entered the Pantheon of Democratic Saints with Roosevelt, et al. A more shallow, insipid man has not occupied the White House in my time. Has the best damned golf handicap of any of 'em, though.
