A climate scientist discovers Hayek and complexity

Fred Hayek was a Chicago economist and nobel laureate best known for his framing of the 'information problem'.  Put simply, Hayek argued that the socio-economic interactions necessary to make the modern world go 'round are so complex and convoluted that it is impossible for any individual or group to comprehend or accurately model and predict the outcome of any action.  As a result he argues for humility when it comes to social engineering as it is far more likely that interventions will cause damage than yield the intended result.  At this link noted climate scientist Judith Curry of GA Tech applies Hayek's logic to the utterly benighted and politically befouled world of climate 'science'.  She does a good job, worth a gander.
