Their ancestors would never have died like this.  Of course in past generations people relied upon each other, their neighbors and family, not on a soulless, faceless state.  This is how social democracy ends:  alone, freezing to death in the dark surrounded by all of your useless toys.  Embrace people, not empty promises.
