In a Social Democracy people are an expense - a problem to be managed - fewer people? Fewer problems.

Canadian Healthcare is a good example of the Social Democrat end game - choking to death in your own mucous for 90 minutes while bored bureaucrats ignore your desperate pleas for help.  Pity her parents who fell for the fraud that the state was going to 'take care of them'.  Well they sure took care of her, didn't they?

Lee said her 41-year-old daughter, Marlene Stephens, died Saturday after waiting nearly 90 minutes at the William Osler Health Centre’s Etobicoke campus emergency room with breathing problems.

Lee feels her daughter was not seen fast enough by medical staff.

“They didn’t touch her,” said the grieving Lee. “She was crying out, ‘I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe’. . . Nobody attended to my daughter.”

Embrace people not promises.  It's your family and friends and those that work for you that care about you.  To the state, you're just a statistic...

I'll bet the Etobicoke ER Manager will bonus this year based upon good efficiency stats.  But we can solve this:  just pass a law or issue a reg or otherwise write more runes on the magic hard drive and everything will magically get better.  Right?  Right?
