Cultural ambrosia

The multi-culti left and the blood and land right keep telling us how we must hew to our distinct cultures and not let another culture 'dilute' or even 'poison' our pristine way of thinking and living.  But in the real world culture is not kept in airtight boxes, to be preserved for all time.  It rather is in overflowing, slopping, jostling paint buckets that are constantly spilling over the edge onto the floor and into each other.  Here is a typical exchange on my FB:  the technology is American, the languages are English, Urdu and Hindi, the script is Roman - Urdu is written in the Arabic script while Hindi is written in Sanskrit.  Hindi/Urder themselves are a melange of Pharsi (Iranian), English, Punjabi and other North Indian Dialects.

All of which is used to complain about the weather.  Talk about the universal brotherhood of man.

Salaam Melekum.
