So why has Obama totally betrayed the left on war, tax and social policy?

After all he's broken almost every campaign promise he made to them?  Why?  Simple:  they have no power.  In fascism, you only pay those in a position to hurt you.  Lefties have no place to go so they don't get squat.  As far as the Obami are concerned they are irrelevant.  If you want to know how this works just ask the "Lakeshore Liberals" in Chicago, of course no one listens to them either.  Hattip instapundit.
