Why does GE pay 3.6 percent tax rate and Walmart a 33 percent one?

Well for starters, GE is allied with those that hold state power and with its green initiatives and whatnot does their bidding.  It isn't for nothing that GE CEO Jeff Immelt is Barack Obama's favorite business executive.  By contrast Walmart merely serves the proles, improving their lives with lower prices and where's the power value in that?  Indeed Walmart, far more than any governmental or charitable institution, is responsible for the improved standard of living among the least of us.

And our elites hate competition.  Hat tip Taxprofblog.
