Another reason why the great state expansion (and then collapse) is going to be so devastating

Our big blue cities, having alienated productive citizens with high taxes, regulations and hostility to the traditional culture are now almost totally dependent upon the state for employment and economic survival.  Now with the state bankrupt, the policy insensitive sources of employment that they've relied upon are set for a radical reduction.  Detroit is merely the most extreme example of this reliance.  Be prepared for bankruptcy after bankruptcy among our so called 'great' cities.  Hat tip carpe deim
