Again, given all of this injustice, where are the pastors?

Economist: American Justice: "Never in the civilised world have so many been locked up for so little".
The Economist surveys the corrupt travesty that American justice has become. "Tough on crime" is the right approach only if the laws and the system that enforces them are just. Ours ceased to be that a long time ago. The other unmentioned fact is that the criminal justice system is just one more way that the elderly (who lived under a much less draconian regime when they were young and crime prone) oppress their children and grand-children (along with Social Security and Medicare, and the ludicrous cost of college which are busily transferring trillions from poor Gen Ys to rich Baby Boomers). For now the oldsters have the power and money and are able to jam it down their kids throats and call it "righteousness". But the kids are waking up to what is being done to them and when they get the keys it will not be pretty for we who are older and are still alive (and they too will call it 'righteousness').
