The Real WTC Mosque Tragedy

Why did the Obami let it get this far?  Any sentient being could recognize that this would be an issue, it should have been easy for Obama the liberal Democrat to head it off:  Call  Bloomberg and have him drag his feet while offering other sites.  Call the Saudis and ask them to intervene with their money.  By letting this situation become a cause celebe, the Obama administration MADE this a global issue that hurts pro-American muslims everywhere and damages our foreign policy.  No one likes their faith dissed on TV, particularly in NYC in the US, yet a situation that could have been defused with adroit diplomacy instead has been inflamed by the ham handed, contradictory intervention of the President.  But the left would rather slur Americans by calling us bigots than seek a culturally sensitive, diverse solution to the perennially ticklish problem of legitimate but conflicting sensibilities.
