Economist Alan Meltzer has asserted: "Soon there won't be enough money in the world to finance the US Government's debt needs". Veronique De Rugy speaks to this and identifies a few scholarly papers. Bottom line, in 10 short years half of the Federal Government revenues will go to service the Federal debt outstanding. Ugly does not begin to describe the situation that we and our 'elders' have left for ourselves and our children.
