US Manufacturing - Perhaps we don't stink so much after all

One of the characteristics of the discourse over American 'Decline' is its self serving nature.  Every rent seeker has his own narrative which starts with:  "Look how much our country is sucking" and ends with "and this is why the state needs to give me more subsidies and privileges".

That is why it is so nice to get a perspective on just how well America is doing in a sector that has been particularly abused by self seeking declinists:  Manufacturing.  Hat tip, Carpe Diem
