Historically our Farm Lobby have just fleeced the rest of America to line their pockets - hurting our 'way of life' to buttress theirs. But now with the latest expansion of the grain to ethanol boondoggle more than one third of the US corn crop will be going to biofuels. And that's helping drive up food prices to record levels. And the tragedy is that most starvation occurs not because food is unavailable but because it is expensive.
Our farmers: getting richer at the world poor's expense. It's not exactly genocide, but it's pretty damned close. And I bet most of them call themselves 'Christians'.
