I've argued for years that our so called 'income inequality' problems are really an artifact of our effectively open border immigration policies. Let in lots of people, particularly undocumented and they will naturally earn less money, increasing income inequality. Now the NYT has an article explaining why Japan has very little income inequality: they don't let foreigners in.
Will the oh so progressive editors of the NYT draw any logical conclusions from their blinding insight? You know the answer to that.
