Homicidal Crack-heads

Anne Applebaum (along with every other lefty seeking to change the subject from what is happenikng today to what happened two years or more ago) argues that when criticizing BHO we forget how profligate GWB was.  To which I answer:  Yep, W. behaved like a drunk  - although with two wars and a belief that by compromising on spending with the Dems he was buying their support (not).  And of course his most explosive spending came in the last two years aided by the Dems whereas Clinton had falling defense spending monitored by Repub Congresses.

In comparison to W’s amiable drunk the current crowd are homicidal crack heads (or suicidal - or homicide/suicide, you pick-em).  And while the argument that “well Bush was one third as bad” may be true, that dog ain’t huntin’, at least not down in my neck o’ the woods any more than “well Studebaker sucks more” worked for the Edsel.

The Republican svengali Karl Rove said it best:  when after eighteen months your best arguments are:  "It was worse than I thought and it's the other guy's fault" you've got a serious problem.  I thought BHO had reasons for why he was doing all of this screwing around with Momma economy.  Well what were they?  How about having the "great contooncinator" and all his "tooncettes" in the media make an affirmative argument for his program rather than saying over and over that "George Bush was a meanie".   Whiners.
