...because when it comes to murderous Latin American regimes they love red and hate black.  Chile is still a cause celebre among the magenta cognoscenta while more than a decade of escalating chaos and murder in Venezuela doesn't get a single yella (sorry, not much of a poet and I know it).

And our crusading press has whitewashed every bit of blood off of the old Sovs.  Presenting the second or third most brutal and murderous regime in world history at the Sochi Olympics in nostalgic terms, sort of a Putinesqe "The Way We Were" with Barbra Streisand playing a conflicted mass murderer who didn't kill anybody on screen - well except her career in Yentl. Chicoms actually have the number one body count - which is not fair because they had so many more at bats than anyone else - but the Nazis are clinging to their record has having the 'best killing average' to retain their Most Despicable Genocidaire in history title.
