Well this is embarrassing

Even with Fannie and Freddie foolishness US homeownership rates were middling at best.  Not only is our government relentlessly destructive it's also incompetent.  Perhaps we should just decide that this isn't a relevant goal and instead focus on helping all of us get more productive and richer.  'Course that would mean no more cash for the 'boys...
