Innovation that is positively theological in it's implications

Astronomy may be the first science where the pace of machine discovery out-paces the ability of humans to interpret it.  What does that mean for knowledge, much less truth?  Is something true if no human has yet comprehended it?  Is Truth a human construct or does it exist outside of human agency?

Theologians, to your pencil boxes or theodelites, or whatever it is you use.
