Good Advice to entering Frosh

Greg Mankiw writes wisdom in the NYT.  The one thing he doesn't say:  take a year or two off after high school, get a job or see the world.  Grow up, learn something about yourself.  And then go off to college because there is something there that you want, not your parents, not society, something there for you.  You'll work twice as hard for it and get four times as much out of the experience.

18 year olds should be banned from college.
