Now if we could just figure out how to avoid electing these ivy covered bozos.

A solid body of evidence has built up that points out that it isn't the college that makes the man but the man (or woman) that makes the college.  This is not surprising -  not much should be expected of spending four years listening to leftists opine on their obscure obsessions while indulging in substance abuse and promiscuous sex.

Yet another study has turned up results suggesting that, financially, the Ivy League is not a good investment. Professor Laurence Kotlikoff writes at Bloomberg:
A recent study by economists Stacy Dale and Alan Krueger showed that going to more selective colleges and universities makes little difference to future income once one accounts for the underlying ability of the student. Their work confirms other studies that find no financial benefit to attending top-tier schools.
Bring back apprenticeships and let the professors actually earn their livings doing something constructive.
