Why doesn't this surprise me?

The Dallas District of the Fed leads all others in employment growth.  By a wide margin.  Look how badly the San Francisco (West Coast) district has tanked recently.  In general, the bluer a Fed district is, the bluer their economies are.

Surprise, surprise, surprise.
