GOProud party at CPAC - Are Gay Republicans coming out of the Log Cabin?

One of the signs of 'cool' in any culture is wherever gay men are.  And increasingly they are congregating in the libertarian wing of the Republican party.  And in general, I think that is a good thing.  This isn't because I necessarily agree with Gays on everything but libertarians of all stripes are 'live and let live' people.  Libertarians just want to be left alone.  So it is with Gay righties.  Gay lefties, well they want programs and laws and regs and funding, and, and, and.  You can't just tolerate their choices, you must affirm them.  And if you don't you're a bigot and very likely a criminal.

Me, I like being part of what Grover Norquist calls the "Leave us alone" coalition.   Instatip

ROGER SIMON: GOProud Party Breitbart’s Proudest Hour: “The party staged by Andrew Breitbart for GOProud — the gay Republican and conservative group — was as close to a game changer as things get and the most interesting event at CPAC by far, at least to this point — and that’s meant as no insult to CPAC. With sexy Sophie B. Hawkins singing to a boisterous, supportive crowd, the party almost obliterated in one night the conception that Republicans are anti-gay and gave the impression that young libertarians — and some not so young — are taking over the GOP. Pretty soon it may be cool to be a Republican and square to be a Democrat.”
