A conceptual chart does not define reality

Someone named Meredith Whitney is the latest in a long line of doomsayers to predict a downward spiral in America's (insert your category here - economic, political, social, foreign policy, technological, yadda yadda) fortunes.  Yet one could just as easily replace her dark nouns with bright shiny ones like 'innovation', 'productivity', 'global growth', and 'risk taking'.  Powerpoint is so flexible that way....




Someone said "nobody ever got rich betting against this country".  He was right.  Ignore La Whiney and believe in your country.  We are still the future.
