So the GOP has waived its right to a response to Obama’s speech. Nancy Pelosi calls this “disrespectful.” Disrepectful to whom? Certainly not the American people. Indeed, it strikes me it shows respect for their time. It also subtly highlights that Obama’s speech is a political speech. As I mentioned on Twitter, the only better response would be from a GOP tailgate party with a quick five-second “Are you ready for some football!?”
