Democrats, reconciliation and Fascism

I've argued that the Democrat party is essentially a fascist party. This upsets some of my more liberal friends who claim that I am exaggerating and engaging an ad hominem attacks. To that I add one more piece of evidence: apparently the Democrat leaders in Congress, at the urging of our President are going to use the budget reconciliation process to ram through their deeply unpopular (but lucrative to their base) healthcare 'reform' bill. Using the reconciliation process for a sweeping legislative change done on a completely partisan basis is unprecedented under our Constitution. To do so when the substance has been repudiated in poll after poll by the great majority of Americans is to effectively deny the will of the people in order to pass a law that benefits their party.

This is the essence of fascism. Their brazen attempt to end run our constitution and steam roll the expressed will of the people is all the evidence one needs.

They're fascists. Get over it.
