Curbing the power, perks and pay of the bureaucracy: a Necessity

Says David Warren of Ottawa, Canada.

It is immoral for 'public servants' to receive pay and benefits far higher than those they serve. It is immoral that they are held to far lower standards of productivity, quality and customer service than their private sector counterparts. It is an offense to every decent man and woman that they live shielded from the pressures that those they ostensibly 'serve' face as a daily reality.

At the Animal Farm all animals are equal but some are more equal than others.

Time to scald some hogs, boys!

Did you see what John said in Rough Truths about this?

The post is The Key To Curing The Political Class: Take The Fun Out Of Governing.

And how about those 21%/63% numbers and the observations that go w/ them in the Washington Times article?
Astute point: That leaves 37% who know they are illigitimate and are content to be tyrants!
