Who must the "Proles" cast off?

Today it is argued by the chattering classes that Trump, Brexit, Victor Orban and the Alternative fur Deutschland are "Orwellian" which is rather Orwellian as it is the revolt of the proles against the modern rulers of continental scale entities resembling Eurasia and Oceania that fuels their rise.

It is the protean ability of intellectuals to define anything they dislike as evil and thought crime that is so....Orwellian.
