The tablet computer: the latest (last?) form factor to leverage the computer/internet revolution

This is a cool chart from Business Insider.  It shows how the internet and PC revolutions have facilitated the tablet's explosion.  The tablet delivers a lower price point with much more utility which means wider applicability, particularly for consumers but also for mobile business.  The question is: is there another 'revolution' out there for the PC after the smart phone and tablet or is this the last hurrah?  Google glasses?  Other wearables?  Hmm. Tricky.
