Ta Nehisi Coates (a name that symbolizes black American alienation - all other groups tend to adopt American names over time) says we - all of us - owe him money for things that our ancestors did or did not do to his. He says we need a serious conversation about race which I suppose would include little Ta's exhaustive list of how "you honkies have oppressed me, I mean us, no I mean them" because clearly the TA-ster with his elite education, connections and job hasn't a clue what real oppression is. The problem is that outside the native black American population and some academic loons nobody gives a shit. Here's a newsflash Ta: none of us talk about "race" unless you black folk bring up how everyone's so mean and racist and gimme money. Hell, I'll bet that even black African Immigrants don't ever talk about race. Certainly not in front of black Americans because once you 'cats get started you won't shut up about it.
We humor you and go to these bloody symposia and pretend that Rosa Parks is a heroine for the ages rather than simply one of the billions of tired, disrespected people in this world. We do it because it's sooooooo darned important to you. Some of us suspect that your status as "top victim" is more important to you than getting ahead. You exhibit so much moral "superiority" simply by failing.
Get a life.
More tedious poor poor pitiful meingat the link.
