Warren Buffet is far wealthier than Steven Jobs. But Steven Jobs has done far more for this world than Warren Buffet. It's important to remember that guys like Buffet or Soros are just speculators: necessary and useful members of economy, just like flesh eating bacteria, dung beetles or lions are. But they are surfing on top of the waves of creative destruction driven by people like Jobs. Warren Buffet has made his investors and himself richer. Steve Jobs has made us all richer. And it's what he did that matters, not some foundation run by a bunch of ivy league placemen tossing money to the charity du jour.
