"A negative melange of historic proportions" - The Hill

This is a report that tries to assess what is said on social media and the national media and how it evolves and differs.  The narrative on Obama is striking.  But the whole think is interesting, particularly the huge disconnect between what is said on social media and what the national media reports.  It's hard to assess history but it seems there's seldom been a greater disconnect between what our elites are reported saying in public and what regular people are saying.  Which is bad news for those holding power.  Read the whole thing.

The final narrative for President Obama, 24 hours before the midterm elections has evolved into a negative mélange of historic proportions.  This was reported by the Global Language Monitor (GLM), which has been tracking the narratives that have dominated the perception of the administration and its handling of both its achievements and crises.
